The Story
The Afrox Vitemax Welding Rod is a premium rutile electrode designed for all-position welding, including vertical downwards. It offers a smooth, quiet arc with low spatter and excellent slag detachability, making it ideal for bridging gaps and tacking. Suitable for carbon manganese steels with carbon equivalent below 0.28%, it can also handle higher carbon equivalents with proper preheat.
