These graphite-coated nickel/iron electrodes are designed for high-strength repair and maintenance welding of various cast irons, including SG iron, austenitic cast iron, and meehanite. They produce a soft, stable arc with minimal penetration and spatter, and are tolerant to oil and dirt on the parent metal. The ductile weld deposit is readily machinable and offers higher strength for SG irons.
