Tradeweld 316L-16 electrodes are low carbon rutile stainless steel welding rods designed for all-position welding (except vertical down). They provide smooth arc transfer with minimal spatter, excellent bead shape, and easy slag removal. Ideal for single and multi-pass welding of molybdenum-bearing stainless steels like 301, 302, 303, 304, and 304L, the 2.5% molybdenum content enhances resistance to pitting, corrosion, and creep strength for high-temperature applications.
